Make it a Family Thing- Take a walk to the park to have a picnic instead of eat in front of the TV. Take the bike out for a ride instead of the car- you’ll save gas money too!

An Hour A Day Keeps the Fat Away- Increase heart rate by running, jumping, and walking fast to get the muscles working and use the whole body!

Figure
Let Them Count Their Steps-They already love technology so why not help them get the best out of it by getting them a step counter to get them into exercise. Encourage them to see who can clock up the most steps to help motivate them and reward them with a prize.

Sign up for Classes – This well help build social and confidence skills along with exercise.

Play Games that will get your kids active while having family time. The Wi and Kinect have motion-sensor games for fitness, sports, exercise, and dance.

Lead by Example- Kids will take you seriously and want to be like you if they see you exercise and enjoy it, and will be more likely to adopt the habit themselves.
